Getting around
In Mabini (Anilao), jeepneys and tricycles are the main way around; Anilao and Talaga piers serve bancas to Tingloy.
Hospitals
Mabini Community Hospital, Zigzag Hospital and the Mabini Health Center.
Known for
Anilao is popular with divers; dive centers arrange trips around Balayan Bay, Sombrero and Maricaban islands.

Before you go

General advice for travel in the Philippines, not facts about Batangas.

  • Bring some cash. ATMs can be few or empty in small towns and on islands, so ask your resort.
  • Ask the resort whether it takes GCash or cards for anything you pay on site.
  • Environmental, tour and terminal fees change. Check the current amounts with the resort or the local tourism office.
  • Boat trips stop in rough seas. Leave a buffer day before flights and check PAGASA advisories.
  • Ask your resort for the nearest clinic or hospital, and which mobile network works best there.

Find a stay that's actually free

  • Live availability, never sold out
  • Deposit paid to the resort (GCash, Maya, card)
  • Full price shown, no booking fee
