One tip
Book the shoulder week, not the long weekend
The weekend everyone shares is the most expensive and the first to sell out. The Tuesday-to-Thursday either side is usually quieter, cheaper, and the sea is the same. If you only have a weekend, book two months out and pick the earlier of the two free weekends.
