Our standards

How we pick stays.

TideDesk is a small, editor-led marketplace for Philippine resorts. These are the rules we hold ourselves to, and the promises behind every page.

We start with what's actually free
A stay only appears for the dates you picked if every night is bookable. No sold-out teasers, no 'only 1 left' theatre. If it shows, you can book it at the resort's own rate.
We never add a booking fee
You pay the resort's rate. TideDesk does not add a service fee or a markup, and your deposit goes to the property directly, not to us.
Ratings come only from verified stays
We show reviews from guests who actually completed a booking here. Until a stay has verified reviews, we show none rather than import a score we can't stand behind.
Resorts can't pay to be included
Placement is earned by what a stay offers guests, never bought. Collections and The Edit are editorial: the team chooses them, and no property can purchase a place.
Facts are sourced, and we say when they aren't
Destination notes carry their source and the month they were checked. Where we haven't verified something, we say so instead of guessing.
No fake urgency
We don't run countdown timers or invented scarcity. When we say a room is the last one, it is the last one for your dates.
